Today we are going to take a deeper dive into exactly what the Sabbath means for Christians. There are many opinions in Christian circles about the Sabbath and how it relates to Sundays. There are several cult-like offshoots of Christianity that teach all the rules of the sabbath still apply (7th Day Adventists), which later spawned cult groups like Jehovah’s Witnesses, etc. What is the Sabbath? What are Christians supposed to do about it? Do you even know what a Sabbath is? What role should Sundays play in our walk with Jesus? Are we required to attend church? If it were up to me, yes because I love seeing you guys each week. But is there a New Testament biblical mandate we should be adhering to? Should some Sabbath rules apply to our Christian “sabbath”?
