Over the last 5 years, there’s been a 210% increase in deadly riots, looting, & mob violence in USA & across the world. Not just an American problem, violence & destruction fueled by economics, elections, COVID restrictions, social justice. Paris 3x, Russia, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa, Poland, Brazil, Sweden, Venezuela, Iran Bangladesh, N. Ireland, India, Brussels, Honduras, Nigeria, Ecuador, Johannesburg, Chile, Bolivia, Sudan, Indonesia, Thailand, Greece, Iran, New Delhi, Ukraine, Italy, Israel, Argentina and I could name at least 20 more countries, most with multiple incidents. In America, riots in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Portland, Virginia, Washington DC, Memphis, Atlanta, Los Angeles, etc. Those involved justify their actions as righteous outrage fueled by victimhood of evil government or society. Many believers, liberal & conservative, tend to justify one motive or the other based on their political ideology. But what does God have to say about our role in politics & government as followers of Jesus & priests Peter described?
