Our hearts are w/Judy Carroll, Lor Creasy, & family w/the loss of Gregg Bauer, a part of GraceLife from the beginning. Planning, behavior & choices inspired by hope in the future is one way people different from animals. Last year, when I was given the gift of Super Bowl tickets to watch my beloved Buccaneers, I was so excited. I started preparing for the game two weeks beforehand to ensure I got the most out of the opportunity... Immediately I began planning my outfit(s)! The right jersey(s), hat(s), rain gear, Bucs mask (required). With strict security & covid rules inside, I was taking no chances… the type of bag (had to be clear, right size), I planned my schedule for the days leading up to the game, Do I leave right from church? Go home? Lots to consider. I was googling, watching, listening to all things Super Bowl for two weeks, knowing I was going to be there in person! My mind was focused, nothing would derail or distract my preparations for the game, I would be ready! Can you relate to excitement about something in the future so real it drove a change in your daily routine? Maybe losing weight for a wedding, planning a big vacation you were about to take? Maybe an imminent stressful event… a court date, performance review, test, or medical procedure? Are there any pending future events impacting your behavior, decisions, and priorities right now?
