I do not fear the darkness

I have already seen it

I do not fear temptation

I have already defeated it

I do not fear the fallen

Who tries so desperately for my attention

I do not fear

I turn towards the light

The beautiful unknown

I walk in its mercy

I lay my head to rest upon its grace

I allow myself to be loved

By the greatest love there is

I walk in power on my chosen path

And although the path is narrow

And I die to myself to live this way

I do not fear the grave

For it has already been defeated

And it will be again
